Back Track Day 7: Travel, Matamoras PA

I've finally gotten some time to upload pictures and update the blog and i'd like to back track to Sunday, the day we left Boston and went to the barbeque in Matamoras, PA.
Here are just a couple of pictures of our day:

It was truly a gorgeous drive.

Connecticut was the most beautiful state i've driven through thus far.
There was no traffic, the sights were amazing, and the roads were perfectly paved and smooth.

Francesca's cousin lives right off the Dell river which separates PA from NY. We walked the few blocks to the river.

There was this old fashioned ice cream shop right by the river that we stopped at. It's ancient and really cute :)

They took us to an old Indian Burial ground which was also just a few blocks away. Indian women and children are buried here.

Like i stated earlier, it was a great visit. Really, really beautiful small town. Francesca and I wanted to potentially go rafting down the river but the water level was much too high.
We'll have to find somewhere else!
