"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do

than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe

harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

Inspired by Garfield, New Jersey and a very special Grandmother

It's a hundred to one
and you can hear the breathe
leaving the very mouth of the women who has
held you the tightest. the longest. with the most love.
and with each breathe you pretend there's a genie.
Just one more year. one more hug. one more memory. one more best piece of advice.

It's a hundred to one
and the breathe is still leaving
and the advice is still coming.
and if it's the last thing you'll hear. it's the last thing you'll do
and the one thing you will ALWAYS remember.
"I love you. Do things that you can talk about."
-Francesca "Fran" Bautista
